Keith Corbin

Keith Corbin ACIB TEP

Group Executive Chairman

Keith is the Executive Chairman of Nerine International Holdings Limited - the parent company of all Nerine group operations in Guernsey, the BVI, Hong Kong, India and Switzerland.

Keith also serves as independent director of listed companies, regulated financial services companies and chairs a number of private company boards.

He has been named in the honours list in the leading trustees category by Citywealth magazine for 2012 and 2013. In the little time he has spare he’s a devoted father and grandfather and loves rugby.

Neal Duquemin

Neal Duquemin TEP

Group Deputy Chairman

Neal has been in practice in the trust and company administration field in Guernsey for more than 40 years. He and Keith have worked together for nearly as long.

A member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), Neal also holds a number of directorships in the finance sector including acting as a director of infrastructure funds, fund of funds, property funds, buy-out funds and private equity funds.

In his spare time he greatly enjoys spending time with his grandchildren and his two Labradors and Scottish Terrier. He is also passionate about music.

Robin Smith

Robin Smith FCCA TEP

Group Finance Director

Robin is a Chartered Certified Accountant and a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) having completed his professional accountancy training with Deloitte, Haskins & Sells in London.

Robin spent 13 years as the financial controller for the Havelet Group and a director of Havelet Trust Company (International) Limited before becoming a founding partner at Nerine where he is Financial Director for the group.

Robin has responsibility for all aspects of group financial control He was also involved in Nerine’s fund administration business and retains a directorship of a quoted Guernsey fund.

Robin is mad about basketball and coaches a Guernsey women’s team.

Robert Habin

Robert Habin MICA TEP

Group Operations Director

Rob joined Nerine in November 2009 as Chief Operating Officer before being appointed to the Guernsey Board in April 2010, and to the Group Board in October 2013. He has accrued more than three decades in the fiduciary sector and has a particular talent within the FinTech field and performance measurement software.

Rob's responsibilities within Nerine encompass all operational processes, including compliance, risk management, personnel and information technology. He is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and holds the International Diploma in Trust Management and the International Diploma in Compliance with the International Compliance Association (ICA).

Rob loves nothing more than trying to hit greens on the golf course, skiing gentle reds in the Alps and drinking smooth reds from Burgundy.

Mark Biddlecombe

Mark Biddlecombe LLB ACIB TEP

In-House Legal Counsel

Mark joined Nerine in May 2010 and was subsequently appointed to the Guernsey board and group board. Qualified as both a barrister and solicitor, Mark is a full member of the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners (STEP) and has worked in the Channel Islands, Asia and London.
 
As Nerine's In-House Counsel he has devoted his career to looking after the interests of international high net worth individuals and their families.
 
Mark is passionate about both his family and Nerine's clients. He loves creative writing and golf and anything that allows him to exercise his competitive streak.
David Morris

David Morris Dip (ITM) TEP

Guernsey Client Services Director

David started his fiduciary career with Havelet Trust Company Limited in Guernsey in 1996, and later joined Nerine in 2001 as a senior administrator. Having been promoted through the ranks David passed the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioner's (STEP) Diploma in International Trust Management in 2008 and was appointed as a director in February 2013.

David’s extensive experience is reflected in the value he brings to Nerine's senior management team and the variety of key duties that he performs.

David's recently discovered love of fitness sees him at the gym regularly these days much to the surprise of his friends and family.

Jonathan Bailey

Jonathan Bailey LLB TEP

BVI Managing Director

Jonathan qualified and practiced as a solicitor in England before moving to the BVI where he was admitted as a solicitor in Anguilla and BVI and became a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).

He joined the Nerine BVI team in April 2013 as managing director and has considerable experience advising clients on BVI trusts, the use of VISTA legislation, private trust companies and for general succession of BVI company shares.

Jonathan loves watching and playing cricket and rugby.

Melanie Ison

Melanie Ison Dip (ITM) TEP

Hong Kong Managing Director

Melanie started her fiduciary career in Guernsey in 1998 and moved to Hong Kong in 2007 initially working for a large institutional trustee before moving to Nerine in March 2009.

Melanie oversees Nerine’s growth in Asia and works with a number of intermediaries and clients in the region on all aspects of succession planning. She was listed on the Citywealth Leaders list in 2016 and was listed in their 2016 International Finance Centres Power Women Top 200.

Mel is an enthusiastic Hong Kong dweller and also loves taking her family back to Guernsey’s beaches.

Gareth Corbin

Gareth Corbin Dip (ITM) TEP

Geneva Managing Director

Gareth established the Nerine Geneva office in 2005 and is the Managing Director of Nerine Fiduciaire S.A. He started his Nerine life in Guernsey where he gained the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioner's (STEP) Diploma in International Trust Management.

Gareth oversees the Swiss office’s operations and, with over 11 years of experience within the fiduciary industry Gareth acts as an independent protector and sits on the boards of numerous private trust companies and holding companies for both international families and corporate clients.

Gareth is also kept busy racing around after his young son.

Pranav Khanna

Pranav Khanna

India Managing Director

After a completing a master’s degree in commerce from Delhi University, Pranav started his auditing and financial services training with one of the big four accounting firms in London. A career with accountancy firms in London gave him extensive international work experience.

After returning to India with a second master’s degree in business administration under his belt he established an insurance consultancy and became one of the first art insurance consultancy practices that ushered in high value artefact insurance in India. PK is responsible for all of Nerine’s Indian operations.

PK is rather partial to a fine cigar and football.

Wayne Francis

Wayne Francis FCCA FCIS

BVI Deputy Managing Director and Finance Director

Wayne joined the Nerine BVI team in March 2007 having spent 10 years in the BVI financial services industry as a financial controller and also a short period as a compliance officer. He was born on the island of St. Vincent and the Grenadines where he qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 1995 Wayne is also qualified as a Chartered Secretary with the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators and was made a Fellow of the institute in July 2012.

He was appointed to Deputy Managing Director in April 2013.

Wayne enjoys music and movies and the occasional early morning stroll.

Katja Daborn

Katja Daborn LLB (Hons), TEP, MICA

Hong Kong Director

Katja is an English lawyer and had previously worked as an in-house senior legal advisor to a publicly-listed recruitment company based in London specialising in employment law and data protection. She joined Nerine in October 2007 and, after completing various attachments to the Swiss and Guernsey offices, moved to Hong Kong in March 2008.

Katja was appointed as a director in July 2015. She manages a portfolio of clients, is a member of the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners (STEP) and a professional member of the International Compliance Association (ICA). She speaks German, English and French.

Katja helps out at a rescue charity for cats and dogs and has two rescue dogs of her own.

Walter Ferrari

Walter Ferrari

Geneva Finance Director

Raised and educated in Santiago, Chile, Walter is the finance director of Nerine Fiduciaire SA. He has more than 25 years of professional experience within the finance industry.

For the past 27 years he has been based in Geneva where he has worked for a number of international finance companies and for a private family office. Walter holds a degree in accounting and auditing and speaks fluent English, French and Spanish.

Walter is responsible for the management of all internal, client and fund accounting at Nerine as well as internal group reporting.

Walter enjoys running particularly around Lake Geneva.

Shekouba Sesay

Shekouba Sesay LLB LLM MICA

Guernsey Associate Director

Born in Sierra Leone, Shek studied in the UK completing his Law and Masters of Laws degrees and his Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice. Shek worked for various companies and law firms in London before moving to Guernsey.

In his compliance work, Shek reports directly to the board and is the Money Laundering Reporting Officer. Shek is a member of the International Compliance Association (ICA) with diplomas in International Compliance and Anti Money Laundering.

With a competitive streak a mile long Shek is rather partial to a frantic basketball game or 10.

Jeremy Home

Jeremy Home NZ Dip Bus ACA (NZ)

Group Accountant

Jeremy began his career in the finance industry with a chartered accountancy firm in New Zealand and, after time spent travelling, he moved to Guernsey and joined the client accounting department at Nerine and was soon promoted to manager.

He qualified as an Associate Chartered Accountant and was subsequently appointed to the position of Group Accountant. He holds the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioner's (STEP) foundation certificate in international trust management.

Jeremy is a proud kiwi and an armchair sports fan when he isn't being kept busy by his daughters.

Becci Welsh

Becci Welsh FCCA TEP

Guernsey Head of Client Accounting

Becci was born and raised in Guernsey, whose career in financial services began over a decade ago with Ernst & Young where she qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant, and was appointed as a fellow of the society (FCCA) in 2014.

Wanting exposure to different types of financial services and the accompanying accounting demands, Becci joined Nerine in October 2013. Heading up the client accounting team, Becci and her team meet the accounting needs for all Guernsey clients that includes bookkeeping and preparing financial statements for a variety of entities from numerous jurisdictions. In 2015 Becci also completed the International Diploma in Trust Management and became a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).

Becci is a keen sports fan, represents The Guernsey Womens Pool Association in European competition, and enjoys reading.

Monika Freemantle

Monika Freemantle TEP, Dip Bus & Fin

BVI Senior Trust Manager

Monika has worked within the offshore trust industry for over 30 years and initially trained in the commercial department of a Jersey international accountancy practice. She held senior roles in Jersey before moving to the British Virgin Islands to join Nerine.

Monika became a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners in 1996 and gained the STEP Advanced Certificate in Trust Disputes in 2013.

Monika takes advantage of the BVI’s landscapes as an amateur photographer and enjoys walking her two Labradors on the beaches.

Nitin Kewalram

Nitin Kewalram Dip (ITM) TEP

Geneva Senior Trust Manager

Nitin was appointed as Senior Trust Manager at Nerine Fiduciaire S.A, in Geneva in January 2014. Raised and educated in Gibraltar, Nitin is fluent in both English and Spanish. His professional career started within the sales division of his family's business in Gibraltar.

His financial services career has seen him gain experience in Gibraltar, Zurich and Geneva, with major financial institutions and small private family offices. Nitin understands the nuances of providing wealth planning solutions through Europe, Asia and the Middle East.

Nitin has completed the STEP Diploma in International Trust Management and is a full member of STEP.

Nitin likes a good social event and travelling and he's a keen quiz participant.

Michelle Sng

Michelle Sng LLB, B. Com TEP

Hong Kong Wealth and Estate Planning Manager

Born in Singapore, Michelle is a qualified Australian lawyer and worked in private client practice advising clients on matrimonial issues and assisting in international arbitration matters. She later joined a trust and corporate service provider advising high net worth individuals for succession and estate planning.

Michelle relocated to Hong Kong and completed STEP certification. Michelle has responsibility for a select and complex portfolio of Nerine’s ultra-high net worth individuals and will oversee their trust and company structures.

Michelle speaks Mandarin and English and has an obsession with the TV sitcom Friends - even naming her dog Joey.

Naro Zimmerman

Naro Zimmerman TEP CERT MGMT

Guernsey Trust Manager

Naro joined Nerine after working in the trust sector in Guernsey for 10 years. He is responsible for the management of an administration team at Nerine with a focus on the Middle East. Prior to this, he was responsible for assisting and coordinating the marketing and business development of Nerine across multiple jurisdictions.


Naro has proven to be a valuable addition to the strong team and truly understands the cultural landscapes and the complexities and differences of private wealth structuring in different geographies. He has gained a vast amount of knowledge and expertise across a variety of jurisdictions and services a worldwide client base both in the private and corporate sectors.


Naro is a keen tri-athlete and loves exploring new places and cultures.

Donna Brehaut

Donna Brehaut Dip (ITM) TEP MCMI

Guernsey Trust Manager

Donna was educated in Guernsey and started her fiduciary career with Nerine when she left school over ten years ago. She became a member of the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners (STEP) in 2010 and more recently a member of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI). Last year Donna was named Under 40 Boutique Trustee of the Year in the CityWealth Future Leaders awards, and was in the ePrivate Client Top 35 under 35 list in 2017 which reflects her hard work, commitment and professionalism.

Donna was promoted to a Trust Manager in December 2016, and manages an administration team dealing with a variety of family structures from a diverse geographic base. This includes servicing Nerine's South African clients that involves travelling to the region on a regular basis.

Outside of work Donna is a keen sports woman - representing Guernsey netball in the UK South Region Division Two League, and playing basketball for a local team, The Nerine Nets.

Petra-Marie Herbert

Petra-Marie Herbert

BVI Corporate Manager

Petra-Marie is Nerine BVI’s Corporate Manager and brings more than 20 years’ experience in the BVI financial services industry including seven years as a Senior Corporate Administrator of a large trust company in the BVI.

She is approved by the BVI Financial Services Commission as a Senior Officer and is currently working towards her Certificate in Management with the Chartered Management Institute and a Bachelor's degree with Ashworth College.

Petra enjoys travelling and spending time with her growing family - she's a mother of three and a grandmother of one with another on the way.
